When trying to make an impression when hosting a party in multi-cultural Singapore, it pays to have a full-on theme to transport your guests to another world. One region-based theme, though, is something we have never seen much of – a Greek-themed party!
Settled in a corner of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounded by a maze of thousands of islands the ancient land of Greece is rich in heritage and history. Whilst they may not be as widely known for their parties and fiestas as the Romans were, they certainly could party!
Greek food is also starting to make a trending comeback, with Greek food being found on more and more restaurant and catering menus worldwide. To top this off (and this is a secret you may not want to let go to your guests right away) Greek cuisine is often fresh and can be very healthy; using fresh greens and vegetables, olive oil, grilled meats and a variety of herbs and spices it is sure to be a winner with all your guests.
